If you haven’t already, head over to our scheduling system and sign up for games. It will be closing at 3PM.
If you miss that window then look for the sign-up sheets at the convention. Plenty of games will still need players and alternates for signed up players.
GameStorm 17 is just a couple days away (or may be happening right now if this is Thursday!) and here is a PDF of its Program Book.
Hey everyone! The scheduling system is now live. There will likely be bumps along the way, but we’ll resolve them as quickly as we can. If you have an account on the website and have confirmed your membership to the convention you should be able to use the scheduling system to sign up for games.
Thanks for hanging in there with us!
Getting the signup system going has taken quite a bit longer than anticipated. We’re still working on it, and while the window may only be a few days, there *will* be signups for GameStorm 17.
When we’re ready to go, an announcement will be posted here, as well as in email. Rather than 24 hours, if we’re ready early in the morning, we’ll announce it for that evening. There will be at least 8 hours’ notice, and we won’t open during working hours.
Apologies for the delay. Thanks for your understanding.
Pre-registration is closed, but if you missed it you can still get memberships at the convention. For prices check out the Memberships page, about halfway down. Registration opens at noon.
Also of note is that Event submissions are closed,
so now is the time to get in there and sign up for events. To do, head over to the Scheduling System. Terribly sorry for the mistake, apparently we have not activated signups yet. Please stay tuned!
GameStorm 17 will begin on Thursday, March 19th, at noon. The convention will then shut down at 6PM on Sunday, March 22nd.
Here are hours for specific areas of the convention:
Info Desk Thursday: Noon to 8PM, Friday & Saturday: 8AM to 8PM, Sunday: 8AM to 3PM.
Registration Thursday: Noon to 8PM, Friday: 8AM to 8PM, Saturday: 8AM to 6PM, Sunday: 8AM to 2PM.
Pre-Registration for GameStorm 18 will run from 10AM to 6PM on Sunday.
Dealers Hall Preview on Thursday from 5PM to 7PM. Friday Noon to 7PM, Saturday 9AM to 7PM, and Sunday 9AM to 1PM.
Game Library will be open 24 hours, opening at Noon on Thursday and closing at 6PM on Sunday.
Some questions have been coming up, so I thought I would post a note:
Why are you out of rooms Thursday night?
1) We are sharing the space on Thursday with another group.
2) We have more people coming to GameStorm! Even without sharing the space, we’d be getting pretty tight on rooms.
Why is Boardgaming going to be in the Garage?
Again, two reasons.
1) We are sharing the space at the hotel with another group on Thursday and needed to rearrange. Rather than give our members a substandard and cramped event on Thursday, we decided to shift things around.
2) This will solve many of the issues of overcrowding on Friday and Saturday! The garage will easily hold all of Boardgaming, Children’s Events, Miniatures, even the Game Lab!
Welcome to the new improved GameStorm website. We’re still settling in so be sure to let us know if you find something that isn’t working quite right.
New User Registrations
The website has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. Unfortunately we were unable to migrate user account information from the previous site. Measures are in place to help make sure we won’t run into this problem again though and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
