Hi everyone! Our next planning session for GameStorm 21 is this Sunday. Want to help out? Want a glimpse behind the scenes of how this all comes together? Come join us at Cabela’s in Tualatin from 1pm to 3pm.
Join us and experience a portion of the GameStorm game library! The event is free, will be taking place at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion, and run 9AM to 9PM.
In order to sign up for events on Sunday (starting at noon), you will need to have a membership to the convention *and* confirm it on your account.
If you have a membership but don’t see “You have a confirmed membership for GameStorm 18” at the top of the page at http://schedule.gamestorm.org, look for an email inviting you to confirm your membership and follow the directions in it.
If you haven’t received the email, or have trouble with the process, contact the webmaster.
We are now just over 6 weeks until GameStorm 18 will open its doors, and we wanted to give you some last minute announcements and reminders.
Dates of Interest:
Final GameStorm planning meetings: Feb 6th, 20th, 27th, March 5th, March 12th
Pre-registration ends Feb 29th
Game Submissions Deadline: Feb 9th
Player Signups Open: Feb 13th
Player Signups Close: Mar 6th
Make note of all of these dates. And remember if you are not pre-registered, you will not be able to signup for games in advance of the convention. Signup sheets will still be available on site.
GameStorm 18 is less that 2 months away! A lot is happening, and several important dates are approaching:
– Event submissions will close at 11:59 on Sunday, February 7th. If you want to Run a Game you’ll want to get it into the system soon!
– Player signups will open at noon on Saturday, February 13th. You must have a membership and a login account in order to sign up for events.
– Pre-registration will close on February 29th.

Industry relations handles all of our communications with the gaming businesses and negotiates for possible panelists, game donations, and more. Interested person should have an understanding of the Game Industry as a whole as well as timely communications behind the curtain. A good deal of them do their work before the convention as well, so you can still enjoy the entire event!
